The Cleveland Browns Stadium
Client: MEP Contractors
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Approximate Project Value: $350 million
Project
Located on Cleveland’s lakefront, the new Cleveland Browns Stadium
is the state-of-the-art home of the NFL’s Cleveland Browns. This
73,200-seat open-air, natural grass facility features four levels
of loge and clubhouse seating, and unobstructed seating views of the field.
Two three-tier grandstands are located on both sides of the gridiron.
Architectural gaps in the seating bowl at Cleveland Browns Stadium at
the Southeast and Southwest entrance plazas allow visitors to view the
field and the inside of the Stadium even when the Browns are not playing.
Excellent views of downtown Cleveland and Lake Erie can also be seen from
the stadium. Several amenities are located at Cleveland Browns Stadium
including the Browns Hall of Fame, team store, and The Grille and Sports
Bar.
Services
Buric initially worked with seven successful prime contractors
to prepare each contractor’s cost and resource-loaded schedule information
for incorporation into the construction manager’s project baseline
schedule. In addition, Buric prepared monthly schedule updates
for many of the prime contractors, for reporting actual progress to the
construction manager.
At the conclusion of the Project, Buric was retained by three
prime contractors to review documentation, quantify schedule delay
impacts associated with construction delays, change orders, acceleration
and loss-of-productivity. Buric prepared expert reports, which
included detailed demonstrative graphics and cost entitlement. Buric
worked closely with each respective client to present and negotiate settlement
on their claims.
