Approximate Project Value: $14 million

Project
NCCU Residence Halls I and II project consists of two five-story brick-clad dormitory facilities constructed between 1996 to 1998. The presence of microbial growth resulted in full evacuation and subsequent remediation of the facilities in 2003.

Services
Buric’s services are a response to an assessment and assertion by the owner that the plumbing contractor’s alleged deficient work contributed to the microbial growth. Buric’s services include presentation of expert opinions rendered from an analysis of project records, comparisons between as-built and as-designed conditions, application of industry standards, and a diagnostic evaluation of water intrusion/moisture sources.
