Project
Construction of a natural gas combined-cycle electricity generation facility in Windsor, Ontario, with a capacity of more than 500 megawatts. Major equipment includes two natural gas fired combustion turbine generators, two heat recovery steam generators, one condensing steam generator, cooling towers, and support facilities. Commercial operation began in July 2004.
SERVICES
Buric was retained by the prime electrical and piping contractor to monitor progress and labor productivity. Buric also prepared a negotiating platform for substantial delay and lost productivity claims on the project. Buric's schedule delay analysis and lost productivity analyses were instrumental to successful negotiations of disputes.
