Project

The Cleveland Clinic — which has the country’s number–two ranked urology and kidney institute — had outgrown its existing facilities and was turning patients away.
Completed in 2008, the Glickman Tower allowed Cleveland Clinic to consolidate, modernize and expand kidney and urology medical services and facilities.

Glickman Tower is part of a two-building, 1.3–million–square–foot construction project that established Cleveland Clinic’s new gateway for the hospital. The nation’s top–ranked heart center — previously spread throughout campus — is now consolidated in the adjoining Miller Pavilion.

SERVICES

Buric established the project’s master baseline Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule, which was resource–loaded for manpower and major quantities. Buric also conducted a performance trending analysis for each of the respective major trades’ manpower and schedule executions.

Applying schedule analytics throughout, Buric maintained project accountability and apportioned responsibilities.

For Glickman Tower, Buric added its in–field analytics and progress evaluation — offering the owner status and progress reports of every aspect of the project — through digital photography and comparisons to as–planned models.

By providing these tools contemporaneously, Buric helped Cleveland Clinic identify and resolve issues before they became problems in the field – completing Glickman Tower on time, on budget and without major safety issues or litigation.
