Extended Stay America (ESA) constructed numerous three-story EIFS-clad
extended stay lodging hotels throughout the Continental USA in the 1990s.
Problems and concerns related to the EIFS exterior cladding on hotels
located in 12 states to date have required evaluations for water intrusion
and building deficiencies.

moisture surveys, window testing, evaluation of project records and building
code requirements, cost analysis of remediation, and litigation support.
