Project
The baseball stadium was phase 3 of the University of Cincinnati’s Varsity Village project. The project was multi-prime with the University awarding contracts for general trades, electrical, mechanical/HVAC, plumbing, synthetic turf and fire protection. The construction consisted of stadium and bleacher sections, locker rooms, concessions, press box level, field layout/grading, site paving and walks. The project duration for the general trades was ten (10) months.
SERVICES
The project encountered numerous changes to the design after contract award, which negatively impacted the schedule performance. The owner directed acceleration. Buric analyzed and prepared a time-impact analysis which demonstrated the influences of the changes throughout the project. Buric successfully presented the schedule analysis, which resulted in a settlement through mediation.
