Renaissance at the Ocean Condominiums

Client: Community Association
Location: Long Branch, New Jersey
Approximate Project Value: $32 million

Project
The Renaissance at the Ocean Condominiums project is comprised of multiple panelized wood-framed buildings constructed in the late 1990s, including one free-standing and three interconnected mid-rise buildings, seven sets of townhouse buildings, six single family residences and a clubhouse. Problems and concerns by unit owners required an evaluation of the buildings for water intrusion and building deficiencies to address these issues.

Services
Buric services included a diagnostic evaluation of water intrusion sources and widespread construction deficiencies through limited destructive testing, moisture surveys, window testing, evaluation of project records, building code requirements; cost analysis of remediation; litigation support; and professional design and construction administration services to address multiple life safety issues.
